The Structural Department of K. Smart Associates provides complete design services for bridges, arenas, warehouses, offices, fire halls and recreational buildings.

The Department also provides structural appraisals, of bridges and buildings, structural analysis, engineering services during construction, preliminary investigations and cost estimating.

Bridges
The firm designs many new bridge structures in Ontario. Structure types range from small precast concrete culverts, small poured in place rigid frame bridges, composite steel beam bridges, precast concrete beam, repairs to timber bridges, and repairs to steel grider bridges.

Buildings
Structural Engineering is provided for small buildings such as one and two storey office buildings, industrial buildings, water treatment plants, pumping stations, structural design using concrete, steel, timber and structural analysis of fire damaged buildings.
